Instructions
- Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Warm milk, activate yeast, and let it froth.
- Mix yeast mixture, butter, and egg into dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered with a cloth for about an hour.
- Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
- Cut the dough into squares and fill with pastry cream and raspberries.
- Shape the squares into buns by folding corners to the center.
- Let the shaped buns rise for another 30 minutes on a baking sheet.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the buns for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Use fresh yeast for the best rise.
Avoid overfilling the buns to prevent spillage while baking.
