Ingredients

  • Coarse sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together egg and water for the egg wash.
  • In a bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, and spice until smooth.
  • Lay out puff pastry and evenly spread the pumpkin mixture.
  • Roll pastry, leaving a connection at the top. Cut down the center.
  • Twist each side together and shape as desired.
  • Place on baking sheet, brush tops with egg wash, and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and cool for 10 minutes.
  • Whisk icing ingredients and drizzle over cooled twists.
