- 4 sheets puff pastry
- 1 cup canned plain pumpkin

- Coarse sugar (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together egg and water for the egg wash.
- In a bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, and spice until smooth.
- Lay out puff pastry and evenly spread the pumpkin mixture.
- Roll pastry, leaving a connection at the top. Cut down the center.
- Twist each side together and shape as desired.
- Place on baking sheet, brush tops with egg wash, and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and cool for 10 minutes.
- Whisk icing ingredients and drizzle over cooled twists.
