Instructions
- Whisk together dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Combine wet ingredients until smooth.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients to form a thick batter.
- Spread the batter evenly in a greased casserole dish.
- Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over the batter.
- Pour hot water over the cobbler without stirring.
- Bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes or until set.
Notes
Ensure water is very hot for a perfect custard-like texture.
Allow cobbler to cool slightly before serving.
