  • 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 3 cups (747 g) pulled pork, warm
  • ½ cup (140 g) barbecue sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • ¼ cup (½ stick / 57 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 ½ cups (375 g) coleslaw, homemade or store-bought
  • Poppy seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish.
  • Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in the dish.
  • Combine warm pulled pork with barbecue sauce in a bowl.
  • Spread the pulled pork mixture over the bottom half of the rolls.
  • Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
  • Whisk together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncovered for an additional 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool slightly, add coleslaw, and replace the top half of the rolls.
  • Serve warm with extra barbecue sauce.
