- 1 pound ground beef
- ½ yellow onion, diced (about ½ cup)
- ½ teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon hamburger seasoning
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 package (9-count) King’s Hawaiian Pretzel Slider Buns
- 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and sliced
- 6 slices thick-cut turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled (about 1 cup)
- 1 cup (113 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup (80 g) French’s crispy fried onions
- 1 recipe cowboy butter (without lemon juice), melted, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet, cook beef, onion, garlic, hamburger seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoned salt for 8-10 minutes.
- Place bottom halves of pretzel buns in the baking dish and drizzle with cowboy butter.
- Spread beef mixture over the buns and layer with jalapeños, turkey bacon, cheddar cheese, and fried onions.
- Cover with top halves of buns, brush with cowboy butter, and bake for 15 minutes covered.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy with extra cowboy butter.
Notes
Customize spice levels by adjusting jalapeños.
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Reheat in the oven for best results to maintain crispness.
