- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup (120g) chopped pecans, walnuts, or other nuts
- 3/4 cup (170g) butter, softened
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
- 2 cups peeled and finely grated ripe, firm pears (about 3 to 4 medium pears)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease the baking pan.
- Whisk together the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Coat the nuts with some flour mixture.
- Beat the wet ingredients in another bowl until well combined.
- Fold the pear mixture into the dry ingredients.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan(s) and bake for 60-70 minutes.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely.
