- 36 regular Oreos, crushed
- 15 Oreos, sliced in half
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 to 1½ cups milk chocolate chips or candy melts
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil or vegetable shortening
- 40 mini chocolate chips
- 80 candy eyes
Instructions
- Crush 36 Oreos and mix with softened cream cheese and vanilla extract.
- Form the mixture into small balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together.
- Dip each truffle in the chocolate and place on parchment-lined tray.
- Attach Oreo halves for wings and mini chocolate chips for ears.
- Chill again and add candy eyes with melted chocolate.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
Experiment with dark chocolate for richer flavor.
Add more coconut oil if the chocolate coating is thick.
