- 1 pound salmon fillets

- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (approx. 1 orange)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (mixed with 1 teaspoon water for a thicker glaze, optional)
Instructions
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until melted.
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Sear salmon fillets skin-side up for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Remove cooked salmon and keep warm with foil.
- In the same skillet, whisk together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and cornstarch slurry.
- Cook the glaze mixture until heated through and slightly thickened.
- Return salmon to the skillet, coating it in the orange glaze.
Notes
Ensure salmon is at room temperature for even cooking.
Adjust sweetness as preferred by varying amount of honey.
