Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients and tools.
  • Combine unsalted butter and orange zest in a saucepan, bring to boil while stirring.
  • Gradually add heavy whipping cream, continue cooking for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  • Strain the mixture over chopped white chocolate, press down the zest.
  • Add orange extract and food coloring, whisk until mostly melted.
  • Seal and chill mixture in the freezer for 1 hour.
  • Shape the mixture into balls and coat in powdered sugar.
  • Store in a container and freeze for another hour until set.
