- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 box yellow cake mix (approximately 15.25 ounces)
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup confectioner's sugar
- 1/2 cup Christmas sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together softened butter and cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Add vanilla extract and egg, blending until fluffy.
- Slowly mix in the yellow cake mix and fold in 1/4 cup of Christmas sprinkles.
- Refrigerate the cookie dough for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Roll the chilled dough into 1-inch balls and coat them with Christmas sprinkles and confectioner's sugar.
- Place cookie balls on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 2 minutes on the sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
Make sure butter and cream cheese are at room temperature for easy mixing.
Do not skip the chilling step for the right texture.
