- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add in the eggs, mixing until well blended.
- Stir in the old fashioned oats and quick oats.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before spreading the creamy filling between two cookies.
Notes
Make sure the butter is softened for easy mixing.
For added flavor, you can include a teaspoon of vanilla extract in the cookie mixture.
