- 2½ cups warm water (95-105°F)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ¾ tablespoon salt
- 5½–6 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup Nutella, slightly warmed
Instructions
- Activate the yeast with warm water, sugar, and yeast; let it froth.
- Combine olive oil, salt, and 3 cups of flour; mix on low.
- Gradually add more flour until dough is elastic.
- Let the dough rise covered for about 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into two pieces and roll each into a rectangle.
- Spread warmed Nutella evenly over each rectangle.
- Roll each rectangle into a log and divide into halves.
- Twist halves together and place in a greased loaf pan.
- Allow the dough to rise again for 30-40 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Ensure water temperature is optimal for yeast activation.
Allow adequate rising time for fluffier bread.
Add flour incrementally if dough is sticky.
