  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup ketchup (plus 1 1/2 cups for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a half-sheet pan with foil and cooking spray.
  • Sauté diced onions in olive oil until tender and brown, then transfer to a bowl.
  • Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, beaten eggs, milk, spices, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley with sautéed onions, mixing gently.
  • Shape the mixture into a log and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Prepare glaze by mixing brown sugar and remaining ketchup, then spread over meatloaf.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  • Let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing, then serve with garnished parsley.
