Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Mix dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla, blending until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients until the dough is smooth.
  • Fold in M&Ms, reserving some for topping.
  • Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets and sprinkle remaining M&Ms on top.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes and let cool on baking sheets.
