- 1 (3-4 pounds) chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4–5 pepperoncini peppers
Instructions
- Sear the chuck roast in a hot skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Place the seared roast in a slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
- Nestle the pepperoncini peppers around the roast and add the butter on top.
- Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 8 hours.
- Shred the pot roast and serve warm.
Notes
Use a good quality chuck roast for the best flavor.
Experiment with different types of peppers for added heat.
Consider adding vegetables like carrots and potatoes for a complete meal.
