- 8 oz goat cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
- Remove goat cheese from the wrapper and cut into 8-10 equal discs.
- Melt butter in a pan, then add chopped pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook until toasted.
- Spread pecan mixture on parchment to cool until hardened.
- Crush the cooled pecan mixture to a coarse texture.
- Chop dried cranberries and combine with pecan mixture and parsley.
- Press each cheese disc into the coating until fully covered.
- Insert a pretzel stick into each to serve.
Notes
Use room-temperature goat cheese for easier handling.
Feel free to adjust sweetness or add spices to taste.
Make ahead and store in the fridge until serving.
