Ingredients

  • 8 oz goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Remove goat cheese from the wrapper and cut into 8-10 equal discs.
  • Melt butter in a pan, then add chopped pecans, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook until toasted.
  • Spread pecan mixture on parchment to cool until hardened.
  • Crush the cooled pecan mixture to a coarse texture.
  • Chop dried cranberries and combine with pecan mixture and parsley.
  • Press each cheese disc into the coating until fully covered.
  • Insert a pretzel stick into each to serve.

Notes

Use room-temperature goat cheese for easier handling.
Feel free to adjust sweetness or add spices to taste.
Make ahead and store in the fridge until serving.
