- 1 (12 oz) package orange candy melts
- 9 large marshmallows
- ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8-inch square pan.
- Whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Mix together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture and add chocolate chunks.
- Spread batter in the prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes.
- Cool brownies completely before decorating.
- Melt orange candy melts and coat each marshmallow.
- Place coated marshmallows on cooled brownies.
- Tap brownies to create a melting effect and place chocolate chips on top.
- Allow coating to set for 30 minutes and pipe faces onto marshmallows.
- Let chocolate faces set for an additional 15 minutes.
Notes
Cool brownies completely to prevent marshmallows from sliding off.
Use toothpicks for a cleaner marshmallow dip.
Experiment with candy colors for different themes.
