Instructions

  • Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract, mixing until combined.
  • Incorporate pink gel food coloring until the dough is uniformly colored.
  • Whisk flour and baking soda in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet ingredients.
  • Fold in maraschino cherries and chocolate chips gently.
  • Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing evenly.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
