Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 packets (0.25 oz each) powdered gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 can (15 oz) mango slices in juice
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 3 cups water, divided

Instructions

  • Drain mango slices, saving 1/2 cup of juice and blend until smooth.
  • Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, add gelatin while stirring until dissolved.
  • Stir in granulated sugar until melted.
  • Add remaining 1 cup of water and cool for 5 minutes.
  • Combine the mango puree and cream into the gelatin mixture.
  • Pour into dessert cups and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for the best flavor.
Ensure gelatin is completely dissolved to avoid lumps.
