Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 6 corn on the cob halves (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 lb. dynamic duo potatoes (red and yellow mixed)
  • 1 package beef smoked sausage
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds or ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 lb. raw jumbo shrimp 21/25, deveined, EZ-peel

Instructions

  • Combine Old Bay seasoning, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Wash and drain the shrimp, leaving shells on.
  • Slice beef smoked sausage into pieces.
  • Add water, corn, potatoes, sausage, dry seasoning mix, and honey to the Instant Pot.
  • Secure the lid and pressure cook on high for 5 minutes.
  • Perform a quick release of pressure and remove corn, potatoes, and sausage.
  • Add shrimp to the pot, stir, cover, and seal.
  • Pressure cook on high for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Perform another quick release, combine shrimp with vegetables, and serve.

Notes

Marinate shrimp in seasoning for extra flavor before cooking.
Adjust the sweetness of honey to your taste.
Do not overcook shrimp; they should be pink and firm.
