- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bag corn tortilla chips (approx. 13 oz.)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1/2 cup red onion (diced)
- 1/3 cup tomato (diced)
- 1 jalapeño (sliced)
- 3 tbsp cilantro (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with spices.
- Spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet.
- Layer seasoned beef, half of cheese, red onion, tomato, and jalapeño on chips.
- Top with remaining cheese and bake for about 7 minutes until melted.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
Notes
Preheat oven for even baking.
Adjust spice levels to taste.
Avoid overloading nachos to keep them crispy.
