- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 1½ cups chopped cooked ham
- 1½ cups frozen diced hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 green onions, sliced (about 3 tbsp)
- 5 eggs
- ¾ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 3 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
- sour cream, if desired
- Additional sliced green onions, if desired
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉.
- Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate, crimping the edges if you like.
- Layer the pie crust with ham, hash browns, cheddar cheese, and green onions.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well blended. Pour this mixture over the ingredients in the crust.
- Bake the quiche for about 1 hour and 5 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the quiche to rest for 10-15 minutes before serving. Serve with crumbled bacon, a dollop of sour cream, and extra onions or cheese if desired.
Notes
Feel free to make your own hash browns from fresh potatoes for added flavor.
This quiche can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven before serving.
