Instructions
- Cream butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt.
- Add egg and vanilla extract, then mix in lime zest and juice.
- Gradually incorporate flour until combined.
- Chill dough in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and shape dough into balls.
- Coat dough balls in granulated sugar.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden and centers soft.
- Prepare glaze by mixing melted butter, lime juice, and powdered sugar.
- Glaze warm cookies.
