- ½ cup popcorn kernels
- ¼ cup melted butter (optional)
- Salt (optional, but recommended)
Instructions
- Heat the Instant Pot on high using the sauté function.
- Add refined coconut oil and allow it to melt completely.
- Test with a few kernels and cover the pot.
- Once test kernels pop, add remaining kernels and cover.
- Shake the pot gently to promote even popping.
- Turn off the pot when popping slows to one kernel every three seconds.
- Open the lid carefully and transfer popcorn to a bowl.
- Drizzle with melted butter and season with salt.
Notes
Ensure the oil is hot before adding kernels for best results.
Use a proper lid to keep moisture in for fluffier popcorn.
