- 2 lb carrots, peeled and sliced diagonally
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional herbs: fresh parsley, fresh chives
Instructions
- Place peeled and sliced carrots into the Instant Pot.
- Pour 1 cup of water over the carrots.
- Cook on high pressure for 2 minutes and perform a quick release.
- Strain cooked carrots to drain excess water.
- Return carrots to the pot, add butter, salt, and pepper, and toss gently.
- Garnish with optional fresh herbs and serve immediately.
Notes
Cut carrots into uniform pieces for even cooking.
Do not skip the quick release for better texture.
Feel free to experiment with different herbs and spices.
