Ingredients
Scale
- ¾ cup milk of choice (whole, almond, oat, or soy)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (plus more for garnish)
- 2 oz espresso (or 8 oz brewed coffee)
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together the milk, maple syrup, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Brew espresso or coffee hot and pour over the ice.
- Pour the pumpkin milk mixture into the glass over the espresso and gently stir.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle additional pumpkin pie spice.
Notes
Whole milk gives a creamier texture, but dairy-free alternatives like almond or oat milk also work well.
Using espresso creates a richer flavor, though brewed coffee can be a lighter alternative.
Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of maple syrup to your liking.
