- 8 oz Lump crab meat (drained and dried very well with paper towels)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Old Bay until smooth.
- Fold in cheddar cheese and chives; add hot sauce if desired.
- Gently incorporate lump crab meat, keeping lumps intact.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
Ensure crab meat is well-drained to avoid a watery dip.
Tailor the spice level with more hot sauce to taste.
Let dip cool slightly before serving for easier scooping.
