  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4-6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (to taste)
  • 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp Chives (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Hot sauce (optional, to taste)
  • 8 oz Lump crab meat (drained and dried very well with paper towels)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Old Bay until smooth.
  • Fold in cheddar cheese and chives; add hot sauce if desired.
  • Gently incorporate lump crab meat, keeping lumps intact.
  • Transfer to a baking dish and bake for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

Ensure crab meat is well-drained to avoid a watery dip.
Tailor the spice level with more hot sauce to taste.
Let dip cool slightly before serving for easier scooping.
