- 1 (15.25-ounce) box Devil's Food cake mix (recommended: Duncan Hines)
- 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 9 large marshmallows, cut in half crosswise
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips for drizzle
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix, canola oil, and eggs to form a dough.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8–9 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Press a half marshmallow into the center of each cookie and return to oven for 2–3 minutes.
- Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips and drizzle over cooled cookies.
