Ingredients

  • Candy thermometer

Instructions

  • Prepare molds by placing sucker sticks and spraying them with non-stick spray.
  • Combine sugar, water, and corn syrup in a saucepan and heat until sugar dissolves.
  • Monitor the mixture until it reaches 300°F on the candy thermometer.
  • Stir in food coloring and flavoring once hard crack stage is reached.
  • Pour the mixture into prepared molds and cool for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove suckers from molds gently. If necessary, firm them up briefly.
