Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- Halve the sugar pumpkin and scoop out the seeds.
- Cover the pumpkin halves with tinfoil and bake cut side down for about 45 minutes.
- Allow the pumpkin to cool, then peel off the skin.
- Blend the pumpkin flesh until smooth, adjusting consistency as needed.
Notes
Choose smaller sugar pumpkins for a sweeter puree.
Store any extra puree in airtight containers for freshness.
Spice the puree with cinnamon or nutmeg for a unique flavor.
