- 1 cup natural peanut butter (256 grams, smooth or chunky)
- 1 cup egg white protein powder (80 grams; see notes for substitutions)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (60 grams)
- Flaked sea salt, for topping
Instructions
- Prepare an 8×8 inch pan or a bread pan with parchment paper.
- Mix natural peanut butter, maple syrup, protein powder, and flaked sea salt until dough-like consistency.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips carefully.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan and sprinkle with more chocolate chips.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
- Slice into 8 bars and enjoy or store for later.
Notes
Use high-quality natural peanut butter for the best flavor.
You can switch peanut butter for almond or cashew butter if desired.
Bars can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
