Ingredients

  • 2 Black Tea Bags (or 2 tsp loose leaf tea)
  • 1 Ripe Mango (or 1 cup frozen mango cubes)
  • 4 cups Water (divided)
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Boil 2 cups of water and steep black tea bags for 10 minutes.
  • In a saucepan, combine remaining water and diced mango, boil, then simmer for 10 minutes, mashing to make a puree.
  • Strain mango puree into the steeped tea.
  • Stir in honey until dissolved, then cool and chill in the refrigerator.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with mango slices.

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for the best flavor.
Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of honey.
For a stronger tea flavor, increase steeping time.
