- 1 ¼ cups unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder (optional)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips (or chunks, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Melt salted butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals.
- Combine melted butter with granulated sugar and heat for another minute.
- Stir in cocoa powder and optional espresso powder until well mixed.
- Add eggs, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract; mix thoroughly.
- Gradually stir in all-purpose flour until just combined.

- Pour batter into prepared dish, sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top, and bake for 50 minutes.

Notes
Ensure the butter is melted but not bubbling to avoid cooking the eggs.
Using high-quality cocoa powder enhances the chocolate flavor.
