These festive reindeer peanut butter balls combine creamy peanut butter with crunchy Rice Krispies for a delightful treat that’s fun to make and enjoy during the holidays!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 & 1/3 cups puffed rice cereal, crushed
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 & 1/2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • Candy eyes
  • Red chocolate balls for the nose
  • Pretzels, cut in half for the antlers

Instructions

  • Crush the puffed rice cereal and set aside.
  • Mix peanut butter, chia seeds, flax seeds, cinnamon, and honey in a bowl and microwave for 15 seconds.
  • Combine the crushed rice cereal with the peanut butter mixture.
  • Roll the mixture into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  • Freeze the balls for 15 minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil.
  • Coat each ball in melted chocolate and return to the baking sheet.
  • Decorate with candy eyes, red chocolate balls, and pretzels.
  • Freeze for an additional 10 minutes.

Notes

Ensure the peanut butter is smooth for better mixing.
Chill the balls to maintain their shape while coating.
Adjust sweetness by varying the amount of honey.
