  • ½ cup toffee bits
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup roughly chopped hazelnuts

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease a baking dish.
  • Peel and cube the apples, then mix with lemon juice, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  • Fold in toffee bits and place in baking dish.
  • For topping, mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, salt, and hazelnuts until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle topping over apple mixture and bake for 35-45 minutes until golden.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
