  • 2 cups mini marshmallows, packed

  • 2 cups Rice Krispie cereal

  • 3 cups mini marshmallows, packed
  • Dash salt
  • Orange food coloring
  • 3 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 2½ tablespoons butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows, packed
  • Dash salt
  • Yellow food coloring
  • 4 cups Rice Krispie cereal

Instructions

  • Prepare three microwave-safe bowls and two round cake pans.
  • Mix first set of ingredients and microwave until melted; combine with Rice Krispies.
  • Shape the mixture into circles and place in pans.
  • For orange layer, mix and microwave second set of ingredients; add food coloring.
  • Wrap orange layer around white layer in pans.
  • For yellow layer, repeat mixing and microwaving process; incorporate into pans.
  • Cool the treats, then slice into 8 pieces.

Notes

Pack marshmallows tightly for best texture.
Stir frequently while melting to avoid burning.
