Scale
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
- 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 pound shredded Brussels sprouts
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1/2 of a lime, juiced
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Add the ground beef to a skillet over medium heat, crumbling while cooking.
- Stir in garlic powder, green onions, soy sauce, and sriracha; season with salt and pepper.
- Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6 to 8 minutes; set aside.
- In the same skillet, add avocado oil and sauté Brussels sprouts until soft and caramelized, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Return ground beef to the skillet and add sweet chili sauce and lime juice; stir until well coated.
- Serve garnished with sesame seeds, over rice or as desired.
Notes
Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
Avoid overcooking Brussels sprouts; they should remain slightly crispy.
