- 9 cups Chex Cereal
- 1 cup green candy melts
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup Christmas red and green M&M candies
- Heart Sprinkles
Instructions
- Measure 9 cups of Chex cereal into a large bowl.
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Melt green candy melts, peanut butter, and butter in a microwave until smooth.
- Pour melted mixture over Chex cereal and coat evenly.
- In a bag, add half of the coated cereal and powdered sugar, seal, and shake.
- Spread remaining coated cereal on a baking sheet with sprinkles.
- Spread powdered sugar-coated cereal on the second baking sheet.
- Cool for about 30 minutes.
- Combine both types of Chex, M&M's, and additional sprinkles in a large bowl.
Notes
Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for easier mixing.
Reheat candy mixture if it thickens.
Substitute sprinkles for festive variations.
