Ingredients

  • 2 heads of Romaine lettuce
  • 1/3 cup olive oil

  • Fresh ground pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup Asiago cheese, grated

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium-hot.
  • Rinse and slice the romaine heads in half vertically.
  • Combine olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Brush lettuce halves with the olive oil mixture and place cut side up on the grill.
  • Grill until the cut side is slightly charred, then flip and brush the other side.
  • Sprinkle with grated Asiago cheese and remove from the grill.
