Instructions

  • Cut the ends off each plantain, slice the skin lengthwise, and remove it.
  • Chop each peeled plantain in half horizontally, then cut each half vertically into three pieces.
  • Brush one side of each piece with coconut oil and place them oil-side down on the grill.
  • Grill for 4-6 minutes, brushing tops with more coconut oil and keeping an eye on doneness.
  • Flip the plantains and grill until golden brown and tender.
