Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large granny smith apples, cored, sliced
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 1 cup (30 g) fresh spinach, packed
- 1 medium lemon, peeled
- ½ cup (15 to 20 grams) fresh parsley, loosely packed
- 2 tablespoons (25 grams) fresh ginger, peeled
- 1 ½ cups coconut water
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth, about 30 to 60 seconds.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, using a spoon to assist in pushing the juice through. Alternatively, use a cheesecloth for a smoother juice.
- Using a funnel, pour the juice into small glasses or shot bottles until all is filled.
- Seal the containers and refrigerate to chill before consuming.
- For the best taste, store your Greens Immunity Boosting shots in airtight bottles or jars in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, though they are best enjoyed within 3 to 5 days.
Notes
For extra sweetness, consider adding a little honey or agave syrup.
You can mix and match the greens and fruits based on your flavor preferences.
Ensure all fresh ingredients are well-washed before preparation.
