- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (120ml) water
- 3 cups (420g) frozen cherries, pitted
- 1 cup (140g) fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 16 fresh or frozen raspberries
- 2–4 tablespoons simple syrup
- ½–¾ cup (120ml – 180ml) white rum
- ⅓ cup (90ml) lime juice
- Lime slice for garnish
- Fresh cherries for garnish
- Fresh or frozen raspberries for garnish
Instructions
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to boil to create simple syrup.
- Simmer the mixture for about 5 minutes until thickened, then cool.
- In a blender, combine frozen cherries, fresh cherries, raspberries, simple syrup, rum, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
- Taste mixture and adjust sweetness and rum to preference.
- Strain if desired, then serve garnished with lime, cherries, and raspberries.
Notes
Use high-quality fruits for enhanced flavor.
Experiment with the rum and syrup ratios for a personal touch.
For a non-alcoholic option, omit rum and increase lime juice and syrup.
