Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs until fully mixed and no egg white pieces remain.
  2. Stir in the sugar, cinnamon, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a shallow dish, like a pie plate.
  4. Preheat a griddle to 350°F or heat a frying pan over medium heat. Optionally, add butter or use nonstick cooking spray.
  5. Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Allow excess mixture to drip off and place on the hot griddle or pan.
  6. Cook each slice for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until both sides are golden brown and the center is cooked through.
