Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare an 8-inch round cake pan.
- Melt butter and chocolate chips together in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Mix in sugar and eggs until smooth.
- Sift in cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt; whisk until glossy.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Prepare ganache by melting chocolate chips and butter, then whisking in heavy cream.
- Invert the cooled cake onto a plate and pour ganache on top.
- Garnish if desired and serve.

Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother batter.
