Instructions
- Combine softened butter and corn syrup in a bowl.
- Mix in 2 cups of powdered sugar along with your chosen extract.
- Add another 1 cup of powdered sugar until dough is thick.
- Knead the dough with additional powdered sugar until smooth.
- Divide dough and color each portion accordingly.
- Roll into balls, coat with granulated sugar, and flatten.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter for festive shapes (optional).
- Set patties on a baking sheet and let air dry for 24 hours.
- Store in an airtight container.
