- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2–3 ripe fresh peaches, sliced
- 3 black tea bags
- 6 cups water
Instructions
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil.
- Add sliced peaches, crush gently, and dissolve sugar.
- Let the syrup steep for 30 minutes.
- In a separate pot, boil 6 cups of water and brew tea bags for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags, cool tea in the refrigerator.
- Strain the peach syrup and mix it with brewed tea.
- Serve over ice, garnished with fresh peach slices or mint.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for maximum flavor.
Adjust sugar based on your preference.
Avoid over-steeping tea to prevent bitterness.
