- 2 lb 3 oz (1 kg) granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients before starting.
- Combine grapes, sugar, and lemon juice in a large preserving pan.
- Dissolve sugar over low heat while stirring frequently.
- Break grapes to release juices using a wooden spoon or potato masher.
- Blend the mixture to a juice-like consistency.
- Boil the mixture for about 25 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Test for set by dropping a spoonful on a chilled saucer.
- Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal immediately.

Ensure grapes are ripe for the best flavor and sweetness.
Use a heavy-bottomed pan to avoid scorching.
