Instructions
- Combine butter and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in honey.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, and spices; gradually mix into wet ingredients.
- Knead the dough gently on a floured surface for 2 minutes.
- Chill the dough wrapped in parchment paper for at least one hour.
- Roll out the chilled dough, cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
- Preheat oven to 355°F (180°C), bake cookies for 10-12 minutes.
- Beat egg white in a bowl, gradually add icing sugar to achieve desired consistency.
- Decorate cooled cookies with icing and allow to set.
