Ingredients

Instructions

  • Harvest dandelion petals from a clean area, discarding green parts.
  • Combine petals, water, and lemon in a saucepan; bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Let the mixture steep for 6 to 12 hours.
  • Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
  • Return liquid to saucepan, add sugar, and simmer until thickened (30 to 60 minutes).
  • Pour syrup into sterilized jars and cool before refrigerating.
