- 2 cups heavy cream (cold)
- 1 ½ cups whole milk
- ⅓–½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (adjust according to taste)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 6 tablespoons Nutella (or hazelnut chocolate spread)
- ⅓ cup hazelnuts, chopped and toasted (reserve some for garnish)
- Optional: Extra Nutella and Ferrero Rocher candies for serving
Instructions
- Whisk together cold heavy cream and whole milk in a large bowl.
- Gradually add cocoa powder and whisk until dissolved.
- Stir in granulated sugar and vanilla extract until dissolved.
- Incorporate Nutella and whisk until fully combined.
- Fold in toasted hazelnuts, keeping some aside for garnish.
- Pour mixture into Cuisinart ice cream maker and churn for 20-25 minutes.
- Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for 2-4 hours.
Notes
Make sure the ice cream maker bowl is fully frozen for best results.
Adjust sweetness by tasting the mixture before churning.
Churn a bit longer for a creamier texture.
